Battle For Supremacy 2009

The Dew Battle for Supremacy will return in 2009 at Melbourne's Federation Square on December 12th. This year the invitational competition will take place on a custom-built street course, designed by Shane O'Neill with help from Jeff "Skunk" Williams, with a massive $20, 000 prize purse.

Renton Millar emailed us with a run-down of the event:

11am – Rego opens 11.30am – Course opens for practice
1.30pm – Rider briefing & course inspection
2pm – Heat 1 2.30pm – Heat 2 3pm – Heat 3 3.30pm – Heat 4 4.15pm – Final practice 4.25pm – Final jam (24mins) 5.15pm – Winner announcement & presentation

The top 5 from Mountain Dew Battle For Supremacy 2008.

The Slam Skater of the Year and Slam New Gen Skater of the year.

Then, 13 skaters are selected based on last year's performance in the skateboard limelight.
